We found this cabinet at an antique store. It was covered in 6 to 7 layers of paint. I sanded it down to the bare wood. I primed and painted the cabinet after sanding. I also removed the hardware and placed them in a jewelery ultrasonic to remove the paint. The cabinet looked to be once a built-in cabinet in a 1920's home.
How gorgeous is that!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Daisy It took a few hours to strip and paint. Well worth it though.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a lucky find. It seems to fit your corner perfectly, and matches the style and era of your house. :)
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful and looks made to fit in that spot!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It took a while to find the right cabinet
DeleteConsidering the durability of any particular cabinet is important. This is easy to tell by the warranty that is offered with the bathroom cabinet. If the warranty is minimal, it's reasonable to expect the durability to be minimal as well.
ReplyDeleteLove this cabinet. It fits perfectly in that spot as if it was meant to be there all along. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteBlissful tidings,
Sandra
