I think I'd eventually like to refinish our metal grates, which are original to the house but currently scabby-looking, since old layers of paint are flaking off. I'll remember your sandpaper technique, too!A. and S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03476334575305858417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6030798822818500914.post-59781842977668584802011-12-26T16:03:26.510-08:002011-12-26T16:03:26.510-08:00Thank you A. and S. After taking them out, i used sandpaper to remove the paint that did not come off. I then painted it with satin black spray paint by Stove Bright. Stove Bright makes the best satin black in my opinion because it is not too flat like bar-b-q paint is. I see these can openers on ebay a lot. That is where I got mine.1915 CRAFTSMAN BUNGALOWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14053332839896160752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6030798822818500914.post-38409604509518977782011-12-22T22:22:26.301-08:002011-12-22T22:22:26.301-08:00Envious of the can opener.
